The Irritant brand was created by Davey in response to all the imported surfboards from overseas that have been flooding the UK market over the past 10 years. Irritated by this, Irritant Surfboards was born with the aim of providing high quality surfboards at affordable prices using local materials including Cornish "Home Blown" surfboard blanks produced just 5 miles from Daveys workshop.

Irritant surfboards are hand shaped,glassed and finish production all by Davey, to your personal preference and surfing ability. Whether you want a high performance shortboard, a high performance longboard, a retro shape or something for that trip abroad. You can be sure that you will get the right board for your ability and the waves you are going ride, so you can make the most out of your surf time.

A retro  brand developed  by Davey including longboards, minimals, retro and fun shapes. Davey was creating these shapes for local surfers and shops when the industry realized that having plenty of foam in your board meant you catch lots more waves and have lots more fun.
